Morning Service.
Keyboard

Morning services are planned to have the same content as the subject covered by the young people in Junior Church.
At the moment, the material is taken from Roots on the Web, but is kept under review annually.

The adoption of these ideas has many benefits.
It allows for drama, or sketches to be performed by both children and adults in the congregation, or perhaps a time of meditation, which can satisfy the range of approaches needed to involve all age groups.  After about 10 - 15 minutes of being in the service the young people leave to go into Junior Church.

Whatever the occasion, our music group enlivens our morning services. Usually about 5 minutes or so before 10.00 am the music group will prepare the arriving congregation for worship by inviting them to join in the singing of some modern Christian songs from our own compilation. If at all possible these will relate to the theme of the service.

Together they ensure that the service begins in an informal, lively and contemplative way. The group consists of two session guitarists, a keyboard player, two vocalists and a drumme

In 2006 we purchased equipment enabling us to project the service content on to a screen at the front of the church.
This affords even more versatility in styles of worship.

If you want to access the Index of our Worship Song Book, please go to “Download Section” under Community.

If you play an instrument, even just for fun and would like to join us, we would be delighted to include new members in the group.
For more detail please contact musicgroup@beestonmethodist.org.uk
Alternatively why not simply join in the singing with the rest of the congregation?
If you want to join us then for more details go see Church premises then find us.
Fellowship continues after the service with a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits served in the schoolroom.
