Welcome To Wollaton Road Methodist Church!
At Wollaton Road Methodist Church, we are currently undertaking a project called the “Grace Children’s Project”.Our aim is to get younger people into and involved with the Church. For us to undertake this project we have called upon “Grace for the Next Generation Ltd” to help us. “Grace for the Next Generation”, find and employ children’s workers. Local churches such as Wollaton Road can then buy their services. We have agreed to buy the services of one children’s worker for one day per week and one Sunday per month. This project was for an initial one year as of September 2008, but proved popular with the church so we have decided to carry this project on. Little Acorns Toddler Group
The Little Acorns Toddler Group meets on Mondays during school term time from 9.15am - 11.00am where toddlers and parents/carers can meet, where the toddlers can play with the toys and parents/carers can meet and chat over a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits. The leader will then give a very very short and simple bible story talk to the toddlers and young children , then a very simple craft activity. Through the Toddler Group we have had 2 children baptised. There is to be a toddler group reunion for all those young children and parents/carers who have now moved on. This will be on Saturday 25th june from 12 noon - 2.00pm. Please look out for details over the next few weeks.
